Meet Eve.

Q: What led you to this job role?

A: Found a listing online, honestly feel like everything aligned for it! Had gone through a search of different roles that weren’t what I was looking for, and then the perfect job opened up a short walk away from my new house!

Q: Tell us about your past working experiences: Previous job roles, qualifications, proudest achievements?

A: I went to uni in Sheffield, and I absolutely loved it, but my degrees are a bit different to what I do now. My BSc is in Zoology and MSc in Science Communication, it was my master’s which led me to videography as I made a short nature documentaries for my dissertation, and absolutely loved it. I’m so glad that I was able to do that and find something which I could see myself doing as a career – and I was right!

Q: What’s one thing you can’t live without?

A: Music, I have to be listening to something most of the day

Q: Name three of your favourite artists

A:  Wet Leg, My Chemical Romance and Tom Waits, bit of a mixed bag.

Q: What’s a fun fact many people might not know about you?

A:  I’ve hitch-hiked from Sheffield to Slovenia for charity

Q: Do you have a favourite quote you live by?

A:  Trust the process

Q: What’s something you’ve always wanted to try but haven’t?

A: Maybe water skiing, not sure why but it looks really fun! But it must be very difficult to be a beginner (how do you start standing up?)

Q: Do you have any hidden talents?

A: I can list every country in the world, and I know all of their flags. I was really bored in lockdown…

Q: Are you a morning person or a night owl?

A: Night owl, definitely. I need to really force myself to stop playing games and go to bed.

Q: What’s your favourite seasonal event?

A: Not really an event, but I get so excited when the leaves change in autumn, I immediately start making cinnamon rolls and drinking buckets of tea.

Q: What’s your guilty pleasure TV show or movie?

A: No guilt about it, but probably Gilmore Girls. I’ve usually got it on in the background at home, I re-watch it at least a couple of times a year.
